The Aftermath...

If only you could see my house after Christmas.

No, wait a minute, I would be embarrassed to let anyone inside right now. The entire downstairs (including our bedroom) is streamed with toys that Allan got this Christmas...not to mention the game room upstairs...

And these are just pictures of JUST my dining room. There are TONS of new toys all over the house...and that doesn't include the outside toys that are still in boxes!

One word.

Spoiled.

Merry Christmas

Allan was spoiled beyond spoiling this year. Santa outdid himself, Mimi and Papa outdid themselves, and G.G. and Paw outdid themselves. The kid got so many toys that he was on overload Christmas night. Talk about one of the worst times ever trying to put him to sleep.

Once the presents started being given out at Mimi and Papa's house....it was pure chaos.

I guess a 4 1/2 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 year old will do that.

Allan was extremely excited to see his golf ball set from Mimi and Papa.

Ryan and Allan were in present overload.

Ashtyn on the other hand, was just like a little doll...opening each gift ever so carefully and slowly and taking the time to inspect each and every one.

Uh Oh, Papa bought Allan a Nurf gun!?!?!

The Nurf gun is out of the package!!

Let the shooting begin!

And it was on for the rest of the day with these two.

(Aimee and Ashtyn still opening presents while Ryan and Allan shoot each other.)

Miss Ashtyn.

(Later came G.G. and Paw's house. Whoa did Allan make out this Christmas! The kid has more toys than he knows what to do with!)

Thanks a bunch to EVERYONE that thought about Allan this Christmas and even went out of their way to buy him something. It means a lot to Kirk and me. Thank you for thinking about my family during this holiday.

We hope your Christmas was filled with lots of love and spent with those you love and cherish the most!

Family Pictures

It's been awhile since we've had our family pictures professionally.

(Since Allan was three months old...but who's counting...)

We wanted something a little more natural and not at a studio with a white backdrop.

I think Christina did a great job at capturing all of Allan's energy that day.

Christmas Card

I almost thought that time might have slipped away from me this holiday season and that I wouldn't have been able to get out my family Christmas cards.

(Thank goodness for Wal-Mart's one hour!)

It took some time and a lot of bribing to get the right picture.
Two year olds get bored quickly when posing for pictures.

Anyone who knows Allan, knows this is his "cheeeeese" face for the camera.

Allan was over the picture taking, so I had no other choice but to bribe him just a bit longer with "Papa Cookies."

Our final product.

In our house, we say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on our Christmas cards.

May your family have a blessed and joyful Christmas.
