Wake Up

Allan always wakes up before Jayden. (He's a sleeper.) When it's time to wake Jayden up from his nap, Allan is more than ready. He knows right where Jayden sleeps and how to open the door. If for some reason I say it's time to wake Jayden up and Jayden doesn't want to get up, Allan gets so mad and screams and cries when I close the door. (That still won't wake Jayden up.) When Allan wakes up in the mornings during the week and Jayden is already here, Allan can't get out of my arms fast enough to go see Jayden and let the day begin. They really are cute together. (Eric is warming up to the bunch day by day.)

Kirk and I have been sick all week with a horrible stomach bug. Today was the first day we finally felt better and had an appetite in a week. So we went out to lunch. There was a guy there doing drawings. He wanted to draw Allan, and this is what he drew...

15 Months

Allan turned 15 months old on the 21st. I can't believe it!

My baby is not a baby anymore.

He loves when Kirk wears a hat. He just has to yank it off of daddy and "wear" it. Really, I think the hat wears him.

3 Amigos

This past weekend Allan and I got together with some friends that I used to work with. Tiffany, Micah and I all got pregnant around the same time, so it was a good chance to get the boys together to play, since they don't live in Houston anymore. We went to lunch and then came back to my house to let the boys go wild in the game room. They all had a good time together and we girls enjoyed seeing each other.

What is it about pushing buttons on the TV?

Meet Cale. This is Micah's little man. He's the oldest out of the bunch (only by 2 weeks). He'll be 2 in June.

Meet Landon. This is Tiffany's little man. He turns 2 just two weeks after Cale.

Meet Eric.

This is Eric, the last of my bunch during the day. He's almost 14 months old and not quite walking yet. He has a sweet personality and gets along well with Allan and Jayden. Allan and Jayden are a little rougher than Eric. He kind of sits back and watches them, taking it all in. But I think he is starting to warm up to the boys. He's crawling over to them to see what they are doing more often. And he's started "talking" back and forth with Allan and Jayden. Three boys around the same age is a handful, but nothing I can't handle. Lunches are interesting and take me a while, but I'm getting a system down. I do have to say, bless nap times when they get here.

While at Mimi's and Papa's Christmas day, cousin Ryan showed Allan the wonderful world of Mimi's piano. Allan couldn't get enough of it. I'm sure he could have sat there for hours and hours and played if we let him.
