Big Boy
Allan and I have this new game we play that cracks him up. I tell him "I'm gonna get you" and stomp my feet and "chase" after him and he runs as fast as he can. He thinks it's the funniest thing every time we do it

Playing Around
There was someone singing on TV and it caught Allan's attention. He stopped what he was doing and started dancing. I tried to get my camera out in time to record it, but I wasn't fast enough. This is all I caught instead. he's not dancing, but I thought it was still cute.

Boys will be boys
"I need to pee on that dirt right there."
I was like well alright. So there he went. Dropped his pants and peed on the dirt. I guess when you're a boy the world can be your bathroom.
Happy Halloween
12 Month Check Up
Allan had his 12 month check up last week. Poor baby had to get 4 shots. One in each leg and one in each arm. I felt so bad for my little man. And I have to take him back in 30 days for another shot! When they're this young they have to get the flu shot in 2 doses. But on the bright side, Allan is now on the growth charts! He is in the 3rd percentile for his weight and he's in the 10th percentile for his height. I'm so proud of my little growing man!

The Houston Texans
Sunday Allan went to his first Texans game. He got to sit in the suite seats, thanks to his Mimi. We thought he would be more interested in watching the game and seeing the players running, but he could have cared less. He did like the loud noises. He'd dance when the loud music came on. His favorite thing to do was to people watch or walk around in the suite area.

Happy Birthday!
Allan's first birthday is today!! Kirk and I can't believe that it's already been a year. The time has flown by so fast. So much has happened in this year, it's hard to believe!
Here's Allan this morning eating his breakfast. Yup, I let him have cake for breakfast and he LOVED it!! But he wouldn't stick his finger in it himself. He wanted to be fed the cake. Guess he doesn't like getting dirty like his momma.

This past Saturday we had his party at his G.G.'s house. Kirk cooked some yummy BBQ and a ton of friends and family came over to celebrate the day with Allan. He got a ton of cool toys and clothes! He is officially spoiled by everyone. Allan also thanks everyone for all the cool stuff he got. He didn't open them until Sunday because he was just too tired to sit still and do it after cake Saturday night.
Cousin Ryan had to get into the action of sticking his finger in the cake too. It's not every day you are allowed to do that!
Walking
Allan is taking more and more steps these days. He can walk from one side of the game room to the other, if he's not thinking about it. Sometimes he thinks he can get there quicker crawling, so he does that.
There is this chair in the game room that Allan loves. He constantly goes back and forth to it. He likes to stand up and sit on the chair over and over again. I don't know what it is about the chair, but he loves it! Here is a little idea of what he does...
