My baby is growing up way too fast. He has now moved on to graduates finger foods. He can feed himself and he loves doing it and getting very messy in the process. Here he is eating and making a mess of his face. The dogs now have learned that when Allan gets into the high chair, there is food to come when he is done. When I am cleaning him up they are there waiting patiently for the food to fall to the floor. Who needs a vacuum cleaner when you have 3 dogs?

Nap Time's Over!
I went to get Allan up from his nap and he was kneeling in his crib. I helped him to stand up and look around, so here is what happened...
4th of July
I'm a little late on posting Allan's 4th of July pictures, but here they are. We went and shot some fireworks off at friends house. Allan really couldn't care one way or the other about the fireworks. Hopefully next year he'll be more into them.

8 Months Old!
Allan turned 8 months over the weekend. He's also graduated to his big boy crib in his own room. He goes right to sleep on his own and stays sleeping through the whole night. He has so much more room in his crib. He grew out of the cradle so I had no choice but to move him upstairs. So far Allan and I have both dealt with the change very well.

Lots of Updates!
A lot has been going on with Allan. I tell people that his 7th month has been his busiest month yet. He’s mastered sitting up on his own. He’s gotten his two bottom front teeth. One is half way in and the other one isn’t far behind the first one. He hasn’t been fussy once when it comes to his teeth. He’s had his first viral infection. I didn’t even know that he was sick at first. He wasn’t fussing and he didn’t have a cough or runny nose. I picked him up from a nap and noticed he felt hot so I took his temperature and it read 102.9. We went to see the doctor and they took some blood because he had no other symptoms. The blood came back telling us he had a viral infection. Nothing but Tylenol was what we were told. The fevers stopped after a few days and he’s been fine ever since. Another major milestone for Allan’s 7th month is that he’s trying to crawl. He does this worm wiggle thing and can get moving that way. Full on crawling won’t be far behind now. Kirk and I need to start baby proofing the house for sure now!

Memorial Day
Here's a few pictures of Allan (that his aunt Aimee took) on Memorial Day out at the pool at his Mimi and Papa's house.
